Virtual Underground Railroad Tour with Special Guest Host, Donald M. Schuler Jr.

We are bringing the Underground Railroad tour to you! Join us on Zoom on Sunday, December 3rd at 7pm with special guest host, Donald M. Schuler Jr. for an exciting and educational journey through the Underground Railroad of Bucks County. Tickets are $10 for AAMBC members/Brunch and Learn attendees, and $20 for non-members. Zoom link to be provided closer to event date. We are so excited to continue sharing the untold stories and hidden figures in and around Bucks County with you all!

 

AAMBC Community Brunch & Learn

November 4, 2023   |  11:00 AM - 1:00 PM

The African American Museum of Bucks County (AAMBC) will host a Community Brunch and Learn, both in-person and virtually on November 4th at 11 am – 1 pm.  The Brunch and Learn will include an educational virtual tour of many of the Underground Railroad sites in Bucks County. The event is open to the public at the First Baptist Church of Langhorne, 215 E. Richardson Ave Langhorne, PA Tickets to the event can be purchased here. AAMBC members can purchase tickets for $10.00 and non-members for $20.00.

     This event will delve into the courageous stories of those who sought freedom at the UGRR railroad sites and those who risked their lives to assist them. Our engaging speakers will share captivating tales and insights, shedding light on the struggles and triumphs of the Underground Railroad. Discover the secret codes, hidden routes, and courageous acts of heroism that helped enslaved individuals escape to freedom.
